This is a simple tutorial that will help you connect with us on Vent. All you need is a microphone and the client version of Ventrilo. You can download it from here.
After installing the program, click on the icon on your desktop.
The first thing you want to do is enter a name. Click on the small box directly underneath the “close window” button. A new window will open, click on “New”. Type in your name and click “OK”.
Now click on the small box directly underneath that one to enter in the name of the server and the host name. You’ll need to fill in the information exactly as it is in the picture below.
Click “OK” and then you’ll see this in the body of the main window, “MSG: Server is available. Press Connect. Once you are connected, the default setting is “push to talk” and it is set to your “left control” key. If you need more help, just ask.
